Slimline Butterfly Brilliance - Fantasy Blog Hop

Wings, Shimmer & Whimsy

For this post I'm participating in the Crafty Collaborations Fantasy Blog Hop.  You will find LOTS of inspiration along today's hop, so be sure to visit all of the blog pages listed below!

When I think of fantasy I think of wings. And when I think of wings I think of butterflies. And of course shine & shimmer! If you look closely you will hopefully see some sparkles in the Pool Party Supple Shimmer Paper of the delicate die cut butterflies and the fun shining diamond embellishments from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Elements.

This is a slimline card I created for my teenage niece's birthday next month. I also made videos for a private event group but hadn't yet shared on my blog. Watch the video to see how I created a pocket inside to hold money!

Below are links to the videos on how to create the background with the Slim Card Die as a Stencil, and this Butterfly Brilliance Card.

    1. Great job, love the blending with the slimline die cuts. The Sparkle is a great touch.

      1. Thanks :) Using the die as a stencil with the blending brushes is a fun technique.
