Hearts Of Elegance Bundle and Sale-A-Bration Starstruck Emboss Folder - Crafty Challenge - Blog Hop

Welcome to our Crafty Challenge Blog Hop. It's a dice roll challenge this time! Stripes, Hearts and Bees? Oh My! 

I love a challenge, and this dice roll certainly was if I was going to meet the challenge of all 5!  

First, I found some scrap strips of the 2024-2026 In Color DSP. I had strips in these colors: Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock and Peach Pie. And I adhered them to Basic White cardstock to create the background layer for my vertical card. 

I also die cut some hearts from the dies in the HEARTS OF ELEGANCE bundle in the same In Colors of cardstock. I needed a "for you" sentiment so I used the SO SINCERE stamp set. And I used BLENDING BRUSHES to create the look of a sponged edge around each of the hearts. To find out how I created the effect of the "lighter toned" embossed pattern, see this video with a different card but the same "sanded embossing folder" technique. Before I adhered the hearts, I added ribbon to the background layer and added a bow with glue dots for make it look like I tied the bow all the way around. This saved on the amount of ribbon used. Lastly, I added the TINY BEE TRINKETS to embellish my card project. I think I met all parts of the challenge, what do you think?

Sending Love - Stamping With Friends - Z Fold Cards Blog Hop

 

I'm excited to be participating in this Stamping With Friends Blog Hop showcasing various Z-Fold cards! Hearts Are Not Just For Valentines 

I've been having so much fun with the little mailbox, hearts and envelopes in the SENDING LOVE Bundle. By looking at my card you can tell I'm in love with the adorable little mailbox and the little letter that fits inside! 

For my simple Z-Fold card, I chose to focus on the die set in this bundle and and to use just one of the sentiment stamps. The MOST ADORED Designer Series Paper (DSP) is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item that you can earn (through February 2024) with a qualifying order. Look closely and you will see that the mailbox has an opening to slide the letter in and out of the mailbox. And the flag on the mailbox moves up and down by attaching it with a brad placed into the precut holes made by the die cuts. Super cute!
