I'm so glad to be joining the Share It Sunday Blog Hop this month! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world and we are sharing our projects with you as part of this blog hop. There is no theme for our blog hop today, so you will be delighted at all of the different styles, types and themes as you hop from one great blog to the next!
Shake a Little Magic Into Someone's Life
Do you like the fun of shaker cards, but want to make them the easy way? Look no further than the Faker Shaker card made with a clear envelope vs building a completely sealed dimensional box to make sure none of those precious sequins and other elements escape from your card!
This fun card is made with the adorable SNOWMAN MAGIC stamp set and the SNOWMAN dies that are sold together as the SNOWMAN MAGIC bundle to save 10%!
The snowflake frame in this set creates a fabulous element to showcase the SPARKLE & SHINE Sequin Assortment that was used to make the "shaker" part of this card which is contained and sealed in a clear envelope.
Look closely. Did you notice what a great background the SNOWFLAKE 12 x12 Specialty Vellum makes in this shaker?
The adorable snowman has several accessory options (top hat and scarf shown).
Some trees were die cut out of Bermuda Bay cardstock to dress up the front and the inside layer of this card.
And lastly, I added some tiny die cut snowflakes cut from Gold Foil Sheets.
Want step by step instructions on how to create this Easy Faker Shaker card? It's the most wonderful time of the year when everyone starts focusing on Christmas cards! And I am so happy to be participating with other Stamping Friends for this Blog Hop! Be sure to hop around to all of the participants to find some great inspiration.
A Christmas Wreath With a Fun Front Flip
This fun fold card is so easy to do with a fun opening when the recipient pulls it out of the envelope. And the Festive Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) really makes it shine!
I'm really loving all of the different wreath looks you can get with this COTTAGE WREATHS bundle (COTTAGE WREATHS stamp set & COUNTRY WREATHS dies). I especially like the stamped wreath and "double" die cut bow used on this card.
The colors of Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler work well with the gold Festive Foils DSP and Gold Shimmer Ribbon. Plus I am so happy you can color the Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends to match the Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
Take one last look at my card and peek at the strip of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and gold Festive Foils DSP that ties the inside with the outside of the card.
Basic measurements for this card are: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base (scored and folded at 4-1/4"). On the front flap, cut 1-1/4" from each end down to the fold. 2 pieces of DSP 1" x 4". Middle panel and inside panel layers are 2-3/4" x 4".
Watch my Front Flip Fun Fold Card video using the JOYFUL FLURRY bundle to learn how to make the card in this post.
