When You See a Bunny, Do You Think of Spring?
I admit, I often do. And the EASTER BUNNY stamp set and EASTER BUNNY punch make adorable spring, and Easter, cards! I paired them up with the SUNNY DAYS Sale-A-Bration 2024 Designer Series Paper (DSP)---see more info about how to get this limited edition paper at the end of this blog post---and the LOOSE DAISY embellishments for two versions of a great card.
The first version I made has a spring time focus. Look closely at the grass. I hand cut the blades of grass with my Paper Snips scissors.
For the second version, I made an Easter card. You will notice that the grass on this card is very straight and uniform. That is because I used the fringe die from the BEAUTIFUL BALLOONS dies. It was very quick to do the grass this way.
Which version of the grass do you like best?
Did you notice how the bunny really stands out from the card? I used a special little piece called a "wobble" to attach to the bunny. It not only gives the bunny dimension, it makes it "move" too! Watch this how to video to see how this card was made:

Hearts Are Not Just For Valentines
I've been having so much fun with the little mailbox, hearts and envelopes in the SENDING LOVE Bundle. By looking at my card you can tell I'm in love with the adorable little mailbox and the little letter that fits inside!
For my simple Z-Fold card, I chose to focus on the die set in this bundle and and to use just one of the sentiment stamps. Look closely and you will see that the mailbox has an opening to slide the letter in and out of the mailbox. And the flag on the mailbox moves up and down by attaching it with a brad placed into the precut holes made by the die cuts. Super cute!
