Ornamental Christmas Bundle and Modern Christmas DSP - Crafty Challenge - Card Sketch

Do You Sketch Before You Make A Card?

I don't generally sketch out my cards before I start creating, but I do love a challenge from sketches others have created! How well do you think I did? Can you spot any changes or additions in my interpretation?

Because I used a Basic White Thick cardstock for my card base, I thought it needed a little texture in the background. I chose the FOREVER PLAID 3D embossing folder. Do you like a textured background? I also chose the MODERN CHRISTMAS Specialty DSP with it's touches of gold and the coordinating ORNAMENTAL CHRISTMAS Bundle paired with Gold Foil, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler. Ornamental Christmas Bundle - Power of 3's Technique - Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

It's All About The Power Of 3's!

What does that mean? It means 3 patterns of DSP, 3 images and 3 embellishments all on one card. How fabulous! Can you see all of the elements that there are 3 of in my card?

The MODERN CHRISTMAS DSP has such beautiful touches of gold paired with black and white. Doesn't make an elegant Christmas card? I loved the touches of gold so much that I wanted to carry the gold to the inside by adding a strip of the GOLD FOIL Sheets on the inside along with the fancy script "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the ORNAMENTAL CHRISTMAS Bundle.
