Irresistible Blooms Shaker - March Online Exclusives Blog Hop

CASE-ing and Shaking

When I saw this IRRESISTIBLE BLOOMS collection of products being offered in the March 2023 Online Exclusives, I knew I wanted to make a shaker card. The "dotted circle" die and the LOOSE FROSTED DOTS are perfect for the shaker card technique! 

I also thought it would be great to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the card shown in the red circle in this photo---with just a few minor adjustments. 

I decided to make the square element a "shaker" box and attach it to a regular sized card on a standard 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" (10.5 x 14.9 cm) card base. 

If you look closely at the flyer photo above, you will see that the flower and leaves that I used were die cut out of the HELLO IRRESISTIBLE Designer Series Paper. I just love it when the DSP has elements that can be cut out with the coordinating dies!

Snowman Magic - Share It Sunday Blog Hop

 

I'm so glad to be joining the Share It Sunday Blog Hop this month! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Shake a Little Magic Into Someone's Life 

Do you like the fun of shaker cards, but want to make them the easy way? Look no further than the Faker Shaker card made with a clear envelope vs building a completely sealed dimensional box to make sure none of those precious sequins and other elements escape from your card!

This fun card is made with the adorable SNOWMAN MAGIC stamp set and the SNOWMAN dies that are sold together as the SNOWMAN MAGIC bundle to save 10%! 

The snowflake frame in this set creates a fabulous element to showcase the SPARKLE & SHINE Sequin Assortment that was used to make the "shaker" part of this card which is contained and sealed in a clear envelope. 

Look closely. Did you notice what a great background the SNOWFLAKE 12 x12 Specialty Vellum makes in this shaker?

The adorable snowman has several accessory options (top hat and scarf shown). 

Some trees were die cut out of Bermuda Bay cardstock to dress up the front and the inside layer of this card. 

And lastly, I added some tiny die cut snowflakes cut from Gold Foil Sheets.
